500 years ago, leonardo da vinci designed an ornithopter, an aeroplane with flapping wings – an impracticable draft.
by alternation, we observe two groups of youngsters, in a snackbar in amsterdam west and in a classy apartment near the vondelpark. ornithopter is a film about imagination, about situations that give rise to stories, about the pains it takes to step out of the protected environment.
